Letter from the Parent LINK President:
On behalf of the Loretto Parent Link, I would like to welcome all new
families to the Loretto Community.
The Parent Link has expanded the board this year to enable us to
accomplish many things in the very exciting and busy year ahead. There
will be many opportunities for you to be a part of as well as meet other
parents. It is important that you complete and return the Parent
Volunteer Form to the Development Office by July 10th.
This valuable information becomes part of a database designed to assist
with the many events and activities scheduled for the new school year.
There will be "parent ambassadors" for each grade level that will
contact you, as needed, to help you become involved and stay informed.
New this year - Back-to-School Night BBQ for all parents! Dinner will
be served from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. with the Back-to-School Night
beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m. Mark your calendars and don't miss it!
If you would like to volunteer for the Fall Gala Luncheon and Fashion
Show to be held on September 22, 2007, or would like additional
information regarding the Gala call Donna Ennis at 486-8277. Much of
the work for this beautiful event begins this summer and volunteers are
needed and appreciated.
I invite you to attend the Loretto Parent Link meetings. These meetings
are held in the Mary Ward Library beginning at 5:30 p.m. and serve as a
means to create awareness of the many school activities as well as a
wonderful time to socialize with other parents.
